Prototype 3
The Petri dish is about to get interesting.
Stay tuned for the next breakthrough!
Prototype 2
However, I identified a few weaknesses in the initial prototype, and so the final prototype was created, resolving issues and improving capabilities.
Several changes were made to create the final version:
-
Change in main structure material from wood and metal to acrylic, making it lightweight and solid
-
Removal of MG811 sensors due to high cost and only marginal benefit
-
Addition of outlet fan for faster and streamlined airflow
-
Higher volume capacity for large-scale applications

Prototype 1
Six microalgae cultivation tanks (201) – Maximizes CO₂ absorption
Aeration system with pump (202) – Ensures agitation for better CO₂ uptake
Tube connections (203) – Distributes airflow efficiently across tanks
Gas sensor (204) at inlet and outlet – Monitors CO₂ concentration changes
LED illumination under structural frame (208) – Provides 2400 LUX for optimal growth
Arduino-controlled system – Regulates lighting and aeration for efficiency
LCD Display (209) – Shows real-time CO₂ levels for performance tracking
Microalgae to Clean the Air We Breath
Innovating for a Cleaner Planet

Aerovive is redefining air purification by embedding microalgae into everyday infrastructure, transforming polluted spaces into self-sustaining clean-air zones.
With each breath, we bring biotechnology closer to the human experience — scalable, silent and alive.

Our Story And Vision
Aerovive was born from a simple but urgent question: what if the fight against air pollution could be fought not with machines, but with life itself? What started as a high school research project evolved into a mission-driven innovation, rooted in science and guided by purpose.
Today’s urban environments face a silent crisis — rising carbon emissions, toxic particulates, and declining air quality threaten human health and ecological balance. Traditional air purifiers are energy-intensive, reactive, and passive. Aerovive tackles this by turning to nature’s original carbon sink: microalgae.
Our vision is to integrate living microalgae systems into everyday spaces — gyms, clinics, offices — transforming them into breathing, living air purifiers. With design at its core and science at its foundation, Aerovive strives to make clean air not just a right, but a reality.
